Whitewater

The Whitewater is an overdrive for those who love what their guitar and amp are giving them, but they just want more without a big change in the overall voicing. It can be set to mimic your amp pushed up a couple of notches without the added volume, or it can be made to crank out some light to mid gain stand alone overdrive tones. The Whitewater incorporates cues from several transparent style pedals to offer a single pedal that has the ability to match nearly any rig.

The bass control adjusts the low end before the clipping occurs, so you don't lose the fullness needed for low gain breakup tones and as the gain knob goes up you can then dial back the bass as needed.  The tone control is after the clipping section to smooth out the high end brightness.  The Saturation control is unique, adjusting the gain and high end content, making the pedal snappy and responsive when turned up or warmer with a little more "give" as it is turned down.  This is both heard sonically and felt in the picking hand response.

Similar pedals can get a little ragged as the gain is turned up, so I've added a clipping switch. In the down position you will have high headroom/low compression asymmetrical clipping for clearer low gain tones and edgy mid gain breakup as it is turned up.  Flip the switch up for more compression and sustain with symmetrical clipping more suited for warmer drive and smoother gain settings.
